Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am really very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is definitely just the beginning. It is generally the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is certainly. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Often, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that may perhaps be definitely clinging on will feel like this is normally all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is certainly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are without a doubt these:
Being undoubtedly able to clearly see what is generally real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are certainly
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
This last part is undoubtedly key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is certainly wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were normally acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is really now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own.
The lights in the house are really all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be really a feeling that there is undoubtedly no going back.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are actually present.
They are definitely secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.
The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are literally being certainly cured of the illnesses in which you have been undoubtedly living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is usually all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not.
Many people are actually trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is healthy.

The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be fit into neat categories.
With that being generally said it is simply helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are without a doubt at right now. The following stages are usually general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is actually a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are without a doubt searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is certainly a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you create seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is certainly a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
With the spiritual awakening process, there is without a doubt always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might probably become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.
Stage 6– Deeper inner work
In this stage, you are undoubtedly not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep personal work. You may perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inner work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. You may likely feel ready to be certainly a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others.
Note: it is literally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is simply not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is actually a complex and messy path, so it is certainly perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described.
Your spiritual awakening process is actually unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is simply an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated.
It is undoubtedly simple, direct, and clear.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is actually a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are definitely and what life really is definitely.
When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were really already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

However, it is literally important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is literally coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
It is normally almost like the Divine is certainly showing us how personal work should go. Surrender is definitely another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
With that said, surrender is simply not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is truly moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are usually going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation.

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. As you grow more spiritual, you are actually more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

This occurs when you are certainly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is literally adjusting to your “lighter” state.
